sigh fuck me it’s been a rough couple of weeks started a new job since the last one I was part of was shit but I’m not sure how I feel about this new one honestly, man I wish I had a better handle on how to make money sigh anyway.
Anyway, I was able to finally get my butt to commit to a working schedule for the comic so now work is coming along very smoothly. Not only that I got the Kless piece for my fourth anniversary, so much work has been achieved, I was actually able to get the sketches done for the pg9 and get the sketches started for pg10 hooyah, also it says pg 8 on the screenshot up there but earlier today I finally went back and update all the pages number (on the folders haha) for each page so right now we are out 34 pages for the first issue.
Here’s how I have it planned out. Right now I’m working on getting all the appropriate sketches done for all the pages, that way it will be more streamlined and I can make a pass on all the pages before I start doing the lineart and coloring.
Another thing I’m doing as you see is redesigning the navigator of the crew whom I named Candace she a dark-skinned werewolf whose a friend of Kless from her entertainer days. After finishing the outline for the first arc I realized that Candace, Kless, and Zara are going to be the main protagonists for the crew going forward but that could change who knows. So I wanted to do a once-over on her design to make sure it really stands out, it’s not final yet but I’m happy with where it’s going.
Also, as I was going over my whole brand as an artist and other nonsense for this comic I realized I’ve made very few pinups and artworks for my main mascot and poster Kless the Goblin. So I’m going to try and change that by making 4 more pieces with her as the star one of those being shown above. I’ve been meaning to do a lovey-dovey sex scene with her wife Zara the captain of the ship for the longest time and I finally got around to it. Since I want to show off her character a bit more I want to make a piece of her treating her patient, one of her sunbathing on the ship, and maybe a titjob or something the last one is escaping me but I have a list somewhere anyway I have a lot of wheel spinning hah.
